Thanks Isabel. I guess with this many cats, it is bound to happen sooner or later. I hope that we were able to give him a happy life for the time we had him in our care.

It's worse for them to live on in pain, but it's always a difficult decision...

Thanks. It was a hard choice, but it was a right one. Achilles passed with dignity and knew he was loved.
