It's no secret that I had been a friend of a writer, Andre Norton, since my teen years. Over the years, we had written a lot of letters to each other, and she had sent me a lot of books, while i sent her a few things I thought might interest her. That's really neat. Often I find myself wondering about who the people are that the author dedicates their book to, and why. It's one of those things that your average reader will simply never know.

It was a bit of a surprise to me when I first found out, but I was delighted to receive a copy of the book. I was in one of those mischievous moods when i saw the copies for sale in the Exchange and thought it'd be fun to autograph them.
