Two burials and a Rescue.

The weather has finally turned chilly here. Saturday, we awoke to thunderstorms with rain, that turned to sleet, then finally gusty winds and snow. While the accumulation wasn't anything to talk about (and being the 5th of December, a bit late to be honest), the temperature started to plunge. We had already planned for this event this year. Quick update. The kitten is at the vet's. He checked Curly out and said he seemed to be pretty well hydrated, although malnourished. he also had a bit of fever, but not too bad. Curly was syringe-fed some mixed food with warm water, which went down pretty well. Tomorrow, Curly will get some antibiotic shots. The vet seems pretty confident over the outcome, and things we got to him in time.

Poor little kitties! I'm glad that it sounds like little Curly is going to pull through.

Our local kitty population seems to have vanished -- I hope it means they've all snugged away indoors.

Unfortunately, Curly didn't make it through the night. It seems he had reached the point of no return.
