Whoever was complaining about all that rain we got...

I think I like it better or cloudy rather than hot like this.

written, rain is better, wears a lot of clothes, heat only two days

It isn't so bad with the air-conditioning, at least.

Is that what it's called?

The machine that blows cool air? I think so.

I should probably memorize the names. But it really makes being inside better than outside.

It's lucky we needn't know the names of things to get them to work!

That's true! I guess we're also lucky that we have them now. All these things are definitely more convenient.

It's still odd to me that things can just show up that way. . .

I don't really like the idea either, but I don't think there's anything we can do to stop them.

Ah-I'm not sure it's so bad, actually! They could have installed much worse than air-conditioning.

It's just strange, is all.

It's not that. I just don't like the idea of people slipping into the house where something could potentially go bad.

[ Teito likes his security. ]

And it's very strange.

I suppose so. Still, they don't seem to be intent on hurting us.

When we can sneak meat, yeah.

[ point of fact: their Church does not allow of the eating of meats! ]

And for keeping the tea cooler.

You aren't allowed meat usually?
