“Azazel did what?” Sam asked incredulously.

“Made Consorts for us,” Ava said badly. “If you think about it, it makes complete sense. Someone to help us and keep control of us.”

“And they're still breathing?” Dean asked the war room of special children.

“Well yeah,” Andy said. He fished out a manila folder from his baggy jacket and pushed it towards Sam.

Sam opened it cautiously and it revealed numerous pictures. “How many are alive?”

“Four. Lily's consort didn't live past age four,” Andy said. “The Consorts are the same age we are,” he told them.

Andy fished out a few more folders and pushed them towards everyone else but Dean and himself.

Sam looked at the photos and spread them out. “What did you find out about them?” asked.

“Missy James, the petite blond, she's a secretary at Niveus Pharmaceuticals,” Andy stated.

“Wasn't that where the Croatoan Virus was being grown?” Ava asked.

“Yeah but it's gotten rid of, they do other work other than make zombie viruses,” Andy commented and then continued on. “The second girl, her name is Jamie Fredrickson, she's a RN at Palo Alto Medical.”

Jake asked, “Palo Alto Medical?”

“Yeah,” Andy agreed and couldn't help but break into a wide grin as he could tell Jake was going to introduce himself to her.

Ava cleared her throat to get Andy more focused.

“Oh yeah. Um, the guy is Edward Fox, he's a computer repairman in Hawaii. He runs his business out of his hut,” Andy said. “None of these people have the slightest understanding of what the supernatural world is.”

“You missed one,” Dean commented.

“Except her,” Andy told them.

Sam let out a low laugh. “She's a Hunter,” their king told them.

“Yeah, her name was Morgan Faith,” Andy said.

“Was?” Ava asked.

“Morgan changed her name to Kellie Epson,” Andy answered.

Sam continued to say nothing and just observed what they had to say.

“So... she was hunting with her grandparents, and they got in the way of the Hellhounds.”

“Damn,” Dean commented.

“She try to make any deals to have them brought back?” Jake asked.

“Tons,” Andy answered.

“And?” Ava asked.

“She was red flagged,” Andy answered. “Before Sam took over, Azazel ordered that no Consorts would get an okay for any deal.”

“Why?” Sam asked finally.

“Because he wanted to ensure they didn't prematurely trip the apocalypse by actually stepping off the racks and cutting into souls. That and he seemed to want to control them just as much as almost did with us.”

“So, what do you want to do Sam?” Ava asked.

“I'm sure you guys want to meet them, but not yet. We don't know how much control Azazel had over them,” Sam said. “You can observe but don't interact.”

“And if any one outside this room goes after them?” Jake asked.

“They are now protected, anyone goes after them, kill the traitors,” Sam ordered.

“Not torture?” Dean asked.

“No Dean, not this time,” Sam told him. “Anything else Andy?”

“Uh, no,” Andy said.

“Then you can return to your duties,” Sam said and watched as Andy, Ava, and Jake took their folders and left the room.

“So, you finally get a girlfriend,” Dean said sitting down.

Sam looked at the picture of the woman, her hair was shaggy, short, and didn't reach her shoulders. “She's not my girlfriend Dean and she's desperate.”

“What do you want to do about her?”

“I want you to go above and by yourself watch her, find out everything you can. Spend a month up there.”

Dean looked at Sam like he had grown another head. “You want me to leave you alone for ten years?” Dean demanded.

“Yeah,” Sam said. “Because we need to know if Morgan---I mean Kellie, if she is someone that is just like we were, or if she's just another Meg or Ruby.”

Dean couldn't see fault with his brother's reasoning but Sam was always an egg head.

For one month, Dean had gathered all the information he could on Kellie Epson, he had observed her in both smoke form and his own natural form. When he returned to Hell, he went straight to Sam's throne room.

“Okay, your girlfriend is boring, I thought there might be some hope for her,” Dean stated.

“She's not my girlfriend,” Sam refuted.

“And she's going to get herself killed. Whatever kind of Hunters her grandparents were, they weren't good at what they did, and it shows,” Dean stated.

“What about her allegiances?” Sam asked.

“She wants Azazel dead as much as Dad did,” Dean admitted and tossed a folder at his brother.

Sam opened the lid and found pictures, updated ones. Kellie had grown out her hair and she wasn't too bad looking in Sam's opinion. She vaguely reminded Sam of Madison in the pictures. One thing he noticed. “She doesn't take care of herself,” he commented.

“When not on a hunt, she's drunk off her ass, almost got herself killed twelve times during this year alone.” Dean said.

Sam closed his eyes and ran his hand through her hair. “She's just like we would have been,” Sam said. “Broken.”

“So your other Generals keep their hands to themselves?” Dean asked lightening the mood with wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

Sam laughed despite himself. “Eva lasted three weeks, Andy lasted two hours, and Jake lasted a day.”

Dean laughed with him. “Not surprising. So why didn't you chase your girlfriend down then?” Dean asked.

“Because I couldn't afford to,” Sam told him. “Until now.”

“Sam,” Dean said with a breath.

“I need to fix her Dean; somehow, I need to fix her before she destroys herself beyond any hope of redemption.” Sam declared as he stood up.

“Kind of funny, a king of Hell talking about redeeming his Consort,” Dean said, his green eyes dancing with mirth.

“Whatever she is, I don't want her in Hell,” Sam said. “Do you want her here Dean?”

“No! Of course not,” Dean told him. “But you of all people should know, not everybody can be saved, especially when they don't want to be.”

“I know,” Sam said resigned. “Not sure how long I will be, hold down the castle fort for me.” With that, he seemed to bleed into the shadows of Hell and disappeared completely.
