[He puts out one hand to try and steady himself, the other reaching up to check his lip again. He's not about to admit it, but the smile helps. There are so many people here so quick to smile at him, for nothing.]
This is the first time I've seen a sword take wounds instead of give them.

A-ah! Actually, Hisagomaru is kind of a s-special sword- See?
[He points to a niche in the sword, which is glowing to a point not for from the bottom of the niche.]
It's like a gauge, it heals wounds until it reaches the top. Then it releases a blast equivalent to the damage it has healed, but after that, it becomes useless, so I a-actually don't carry it around in Soul Society, I j-just use my hands and my medical tools to heal there...
