Slavery: Guilt v. Responsibility

Before I post this on WWF, any thoughts on language changes? Whether I should post at all?

A man in Alaska has filed suit alleging that the Fourteenth Amendment does not carry with it the right to hold public office. This particular frivolous lawsuit not only infuriates me, but concerns me.  Not that there is a bigot out there willing to allege that ( Read more... )

Thank you for telling me. Your opinion on issues of race matters a lot to me. I know you should not feel any burden to be responsible for educating people (no one should) but I learn a lot when you write about the things people do that upset you. Some of them I can figure out on my own, but others I am not always as aware of as I should be, and you help me understand better, and that is a very good thing. *hugs*

If I were your editor, I'd change "I am morally compelled" to "I feel morally compelled". But it depends on whether you want the implication of "If you're like me, you have this moral compulsion too".
