What BOOK'S do you RECOMMEND?

LIke I'm so happy cause like my mom finally give in to me learning Japanese (like crazy) :P
But I'm like confused on what book's to buy that are good on studying japanese...
Could someone help me?!

NOT Nakama. In my first semester of Japanese class, I used the Nakama books, and they're TERRIBLE! They don't teach verbs the right way at all. When I came to Japan, I was SO confused! I'd recommend the Genki books. They do a good job of breaking things down.
