The "gays" didn't ruin the rainbow - you decide what you wish and if you are ashamed because someone may take the way you didn't intend then that is there problem not yours. Why should you care what others think? Besides didn't Jesus walk among the whores and sinful, he wasn't worried about what people thought of him ... so if someone takes the symbol not as you intend why should you worry ... jesus didn't.

Wow where did this come from? things are happening....who knew an icon could stir up such feelings....I feel the rainbow wasn't all that popular before the gays adopted it n e way....so how many people could they be ruining it for even if that were true.....I mean other than perhaps hippies and rainbowbrite fans (and come on plenty of them have dabbled lets be honest)....Also I don't think I associate someone dawning a rainbow immediately with being gay....I mean if its on his dildo then thats another thing.....

My icon is my protest of the gay community taking the rainbow and using it to symbolize Gay Pride. In the story of Noah, God put the rainbow in the sky as a sign of his love and as a promise to never flood the earth again. Homosexuals have taken this ancient Biblical symbol and used it to demonstrate their modern pride in engaging in a lifestyle that, according to the Bible, is a sin. To me it's no different than if someone had taken the l'chaim symbol that so many Jewish folks wear and used it to promote something that was directly against what the Jews believe.
