I'm wondering if anyone has biked Germantown Rd, Springville Rd, or any other of those crazy curvy roads that cross Skyline. I've never biked them but I have driven on them before and the thing that I noticed is the total lack of any shoulder. So I'm wondering how bad would they be to bike? Is the grade really that steep? I was thinking of leaving

I've seen several people biking on Germantown or Skyline, so I know people do it. Cars will have to watch out for you. I'd go early like you suggested. I'll try to not run you over on my way to checkout the urban explore spot tomorrow.
