Good to be back!

I was in NY this past week visiting friends and family but most importantly- just relaxing. Sounds wierd to say- I went to NY to relax, but that is what I did *grin* The Dr.s say everything looks and sounds ok and we are to find out this thursday the sex of the baby. Everyone is like- "You don't want to be surprised?" Um...finding out I was ( Read more... )

Hey sweet pea and hello to the little pea!

It's so good to see you posting! We've missed you!

You know, I started my LJ to keep track of Alex's development so I totally expect to see all sorts of baby pics and news once the little one arrives. Have you picked any names yet?

And you'll have to cut way down on that sugar content once the baby is a bit older. Alex can just look at something with 30g of sugar and starts bouncing off the walls. We have sugar-free Jell-O, sugar-free pudding, sugar-free snacks everywhere. He becomes another (wild) person when he eats a bunch of crap. Although the grandparents don't seem to remember that when he goes over there. My MIL said one day after Alex spent the night "It was 1am and Alex was bouncing off the walls!" I asked her if he had any sugar and she said "Well, I just gave him a small package of M&M's and a an entire can of Dr. Pepper."

Jesus. Glad he spent the night there and not here!

So glad to see you posting. Using my new Kell/Alex icon just for you.

::hugs::

The Icons are amazing- I just changed into a new GB one *grin* I love the Kell/Alex one- how happy you both look! I am trying super hard to cut back on sugar- I even bought fruit...the real thing- instead of fruit rollups today. Look at me trying to be a grown up lmao

I totally agree about finding out the sex of the baby. I was surprised for both of my boys...I was just surprised at approx 4 1/2 months and not at the birth. LOL A surprise is a surprise is a surprise. And I can't wait to find out what you're having!!! Have y'all talked about names yet? I LOVE picking out names. We even have names picked out for our 3rd child that we're never having. LOL

I'm so glad to hear that you had a great trip to NY.

And I know how you feel. With the husband gone I have a big pillow too. I always sleep with my back to C so I put the pillow up against my back. Although this pillow doesn't move and C is a mover, so I'm sure the sleeping will not be the best while he's home. But oh well, I'll take it!! :)

We were talking about names but started fighting lol- fun fighting, but still. He is strongly holding onto Scottish names *ahem*: Angus (hello- its a cut of BEEF fcol!) Hammish (And what? Call him 'Ham') for short?...the list goes on but he said mine were too "Irish" sounding *sniff*- James Joseph after my grandparents...the only name we agree on is Madison for a girl...Maddie for short. If its a boy though- break out the gloves. I told him I was carrying the baby for nine months...I should get dibs on the name calling lol- he didn't fall for it yet *grin*

Are you using the body pillow when C is away? The one I have is about 5 ft long...but I too sleep with my back to the Bhoy but when I was home I just had to hug it *sniff* Enjoy sleeping while he is there! *I know that sounded naughty but I didn't really mean it that way lol*

Hammish? I'd hate to be the friend of a boy with that name! "Hey Ham! Is that your friend cheese?"

Angus? In TX, they'd probably nickname him "Bull." LOL Not that you're going to be living in TX or anywhere near. LOL

Oh well, wait til the ultrasound. C and I would fight about the middle name for a girl. Then we found out we were having a boy. No need for anymore discussion. LOL

A lady in my FRG had a baby about 6 months ago and named her daughter Madison. I really like that name.

J it was so wonderful to see you - and your family is a blast! I'm thinking about adopting them as my own since you've flown the coop. They have room for another daughter don't they?

Kisses to the bhoy and the baby! :)
* Whispering to the stomach area: Do you see what I have to put up with? *
