I moderate several webcasts every month.  This entails getting on a conference bridge and logging into a web console where I can click through a presentation, chat with other presenters and manage a question queue.  I was supervising a video shoot this morning in Boondocky, RI -- so I had to use a "guest office" at the client's headquarters to do ( Read more... )

Never tried doing that one, but I know I have attendees joining from their phones.

Yeah, viewing just entails seeing images of the PPTs in a browser window and hearing the associated streaming audio. Managing the console involves chat, prioritizing questions in a queue, pushing out poll results, etc. There were a few hinky things about the console on my Droid's browser -- for example, they had to clear the chat window every so often because it bled past where I could see it. But it still worked out remarkably well.
