1 May have the opportunity to present a paper at the Society of Biblical Literature's annual convention in the Fall.
2 Spikenard, our youth worship band, has been asked to play for a diocesan youth event coming up at which will be our current bishop, our bishop-elect, and the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church (Katherine Jefferts Schori).
3 Bought fabulous yet understated new black dress shoes yesterday and am looking professional and slick today. Kind of boring, but priest-y.
4 Am going on vacation tomorrow to scenic Cincinnati with Beloved Husband.
5 Have begun reading Children of God, sequel of The Sparrow, and am powerfully ambivalent as of right now.
