PROTOCOL 5797.

Jun 22, 2008 00:11

Good evening, my children. As of late I have decided that to pass the time, there will be optional video interviews for you to do, if you so wish. Just come to my room and talk about the subject I have given you, for whatever length of time you desire. It is very similar to how the first video interview you did is, except is more relaxed, and much ( Read more... )

VIDEO INTERVIEW 1900 - SQUALL LEONHART hislionheart June 22 2008, 00:01:07 UTC
I was born before the Change, but I don't remember my family. My earliest memories are in the Dorms.

[SILENCE. 4 SECONDS.
NO BREAK IN VIDEO INTERVIEW.]

This is an idiotic topic for an interview. You shouldn't depend on other people and be a burden to them. You shouldn't get close to each other, because it will just end in more pain. Nothing last forever. Everyone learns this, eventually.

...

In the end, you're on your own here.

'Family', huh? Wasn't there any other subject you could have picked?

[SILENCE. 12 SECONDS.
NO BREAK IN VIDEO INTERVIEW.]
It's not something anyone really wants to talk about. But since I came here out of boredom... [sighs, lifts up knees onto chair and looks off camera] I may as well say something about it.

Since no one's going to see it, are they?

[looks back on camera] Both of us were born before the Change. My earliest memory is waking up and finding both mom and dad gone, so I don't know much about them. I was never close to them, anyway, I know that much. Always distant, right from the start. She was only a few months old when it happened. I had to look after her in that time; but then when we got to the Dorms, we got seperated.

I watched her growing up. Never really talked to her.. only so much time that you could, and I'd rather not get attatched to anything- and I didn't. I just watched her grow up. [places face in palm of hand]

What? Her name?

VIDEO INTERVIEW 1902 - EDWARD ELRIC thealchemyotaku June 22 2008, 00:28:04 UTC
Family... it means a lot to me. It’s my whole motivation for continuing this fight and helping you out in the first place. Maybe I would have still escaped if I had no one to fight for... I wasn’t ready to die on my fourteenth birthday but somehow... I think I would have been monster food by now.

[SILENCE. 12 SECONDS.

I don’t really remember my mom. I know I had to have had a mom although I’m not sure how that happened... I only really remember the dorms but I don’t think I was born there, because if I was then my mom would have only been thirteen at the time... I don’t think that’s possible.

I know... that my mom was really sick when she was alive and my dad... that bastard, he wasn’t around to help her. I don’t know how I know this, I just... maybe it’s a residual memory or something stupid like that. I don’t know. But I hate him ( ... )

VIDEO INTERVIEW 1903 - JENNY timetorunagain June 22 2008, 00:58:19 UTC
When I was born- or created, really- there was my dad. The first thing I said in this life was 'Hello dad'. He's... important to me! Very important.

[SILENCE. 12 SECONDS.
NO BREAK IN VIDEO INTERVIEW.]
It's slightly complicated about how I came to be created... but basically, my dad is my dad and mum, if you know what I mean. I'm created from one single parent. I was born as being physically nineteen with enriched knowledge in military and everything- what? Yes, I am getting somewhere with this. This has to be explained for it to make sense.

So- I could fight. That's all I knew how to do. What our legacy was- to fight the Hath.

... dad didn't like the fact that I fought- or that I was his 'daughter' but not, in his eyes. But I was so much like him; in personality, in regards to what he'd done and what I had done... we were both alike to one another. But I was stubborn, and so was he.

But it worked out. We respected each others thoughts- and each other in general. And we both love running more than anything else. [smiles] We grew ( ... )
