Agh, that post lost its formatting. Here's how it was supposed to look:

Child's Mind
Why does Eastern philosophy revere the mind of a child? Western culture knows better.

The child's mind has no predefined knowledge.
Thus it is free to understand what it discovers.

The child's mind has no base of rigorous education.
Thus it can learn what is, rather than what it has been told.

The child's mind has no formal logic and rules of order.
Thus it creates, and in creation, grows.

The child's mind has no concept of needing society's approval.
Thus it makes its own.

Eastern philosophy reveres the child's mind. Western culture knows better.
