Well, this place is called Econtra, an' it's supposed to be on some part of Earth. Or some version of Earth, leastaways. We're here as some sorta gambit in what's apparently a civil war between two groups of life-stealing alien energy creatures.

You know, war isn't really my thing? I have priorities and all. Still, I suppose I'm not going to be allowed back home. Or do pretty much anything I might want.

Some folk get sent back home. Don't have a choice in when or how, though, far as I can tell. As for doin' what you like, probably depends on what it is you're wantin' to do. We do get some freedom, far as the day-to-day goes.
