If i talk like this, do i really sound like a ho?

So, at dinner my mom and i had a conversation about getting married and that kind of stuff. At some point i said that i wouldn't like to find the right guy now, stick with him and get married with him in the future. Both my mom and my brother looked at me and i explained that it'd be boring and that, well, i'd like to do some experience and have ( Read more... )

You;re not a ho hun *hug* I think if that's is what you are comfrabtle with then as long as you are happy, that's great :) and all that matters in the end. I don't know about you but I already feel the pressure to get married. I'll be 23 next month. I think there is still lots of time. I don't want to get maried for the sake of getting married,I want to be in love.

Aw thank you hun! You're one the most adorable human being i've ever had the pleasure to meet! *hugs* Talking about marriage, i agree with you. I don't want to get married just for the sake of it, i want to be in love with the guy who i'm going to spend the rest of my life with and he has has to be the right one for me. I'll be 23 in three months but i do think that i'm too young to get married and honestly speaking i don't really want to get married at this age, it's way too early imo.

You're welcome hun *hugs* And congrats to your parents! That's a pretty long time! You must be really proud of them. That being said, we don't need to be worried about getting married. Like you said, we'll find the right person one day and we'll be so happy that everything that happened before won't even matter anymore. :)

I can understand this somewhat. I know I've felt the pressure to get married once I graduated high school. I'm not sure why, but I figured future husband would just show up, and he still hasn't yet. LOL ;) A lot of peple call me old fashioned and for me I only want to be with one guy and I want to spend the rest of my life with that one guy I believe God is sending me. I do believe that is someone for all of us and someone we have that powerful soul mate connection with.

For you, it's up to you and if that's what you want and are ok with it then that's ok. It's doesn't make you a ho. LOL ;) You're not with like a huge number, so it's not that bad. Plus, you want good relationships with each. And it's good to wait and to experience life while your single (took me awhile to realize that).

Aww hun, thank you so much for your words! I'm so glad i put this here because you guys have already cheered me up! I know it's not a big deal but seriously, my mom looked so serious when talking about this. LOL

Talking about the wedding, i think that a lot of girls feel the pressure to get married after HS. In the past, i wanted to get married asap because i really didn't want to be alone but now, that i'm more mature and adult, i want to wait for the right person.Oh and i so love what you wrote about the soul mate thing and i totally agree with you. There's the other half of the apple for everyone out there , we just need to wait for it. Honestly speaking, i wouldn't mind getting divorced if i stopped loving my husband but i also know that a divorce would break me. I mean, it's not easy moving on.
