Yukimura's album

It's better than I was expecting it to be. There isn't a song on here that I don't love tremendously. Nagai Sachiko has such a soothing voice and Yukimura's songs are some of the best out of all of them. This is going to be another album I'll always keep on my computer, the other being Taka's. I think my absolute favorite is "Last Game". Nagai ( Read more... )

Also speaking of the piranha, we still need to script out the barracuda and the piranha. D:

I still haven't gotten around to listening to his album, though.

Yes, we do. D: I have some time now (or just today or tomorrow) if this works for you~ ♥

It's a nice listen. Very mellow genki, to borrow a term from Corv when he heard me listening to it yesterday. XD

I think you're onto something by saying the album is "mellow genki." I've never really been a fan of Seiichi's voice, personally, but so far this album has actually impressed me quite a bit - Nagai Sachiko's voice has definitely improved from "Shinjitsu," or even "Yume no Tsuzuki."

I have it on shuffle, right now; I'm just waiting for the duet with Ryoma to come on, and of course, the troika song made me stupidly happy. ♥

It really has. Though I've always liked Nagai's voice, it's always been the style of Yukimura's songs that keep them on my computer. I'm amazed at how much her voice has improved since "Yume no Tsuzuki" which was a significant improvement from "Shinjitsu", I'd thought.

"Mellow genki" fits, I think. XD; I can only understand a few random words here and there but the tone of most of these songs is just so quietly happy.

I loved the troika song. I'm also curious about what you'll think of "Last Game". ♥

Yeah, makes sense. I tend to just keep all Tenipuri related songs on my computer, even if I don't like them much, just because I like having the whole collection available to me for both personal and other reasons (ie, someone needing a song, etc). But, yeah, definitely - "Shinjitsu" was kind of meh, the video game song is terrible, in my opinion, and then "Yume no Tsuzuki" was nice to listen to the first time, but after that also became just kind of so-so.

Yup. ♥ I'll probably end up translating the troika song at some point - I caught some of it, but I want to really pay close attention to the lyrics and give the song the attention it deserves. It wasn't even that the song was particularly memorable, per se, just... adorable. XD;

"Last Game" was really nice. ♥ I'm impressed - MinaJun needs to do more duets with everyone.

I did that for a while until I realized how much space it was taking up and I only ever listened to the same twenty songs. XD; It is useful to have them on hand though. "Shinjitsu" is actually one of my favorites though I agree with you about the video game song. I like the lyrics but that's about it on that one. I don't listen to "Yume no Tsuzuki" much though I think it's a nice song; usually when I want to hear that particular melody, I put on Michelle Branch. XD;

Yay. :D She seriously does. MinaJun has such a nice voice.

That would be really cool. ♥ I'm hoping someone will scan the kanji. The Troika song was really cute from what I could tell. It sounded very friendshippy. XD
