In writing circles the month of November has long been associated with the mad dash to produce a 50,000 word novel and, while I applaud the notion, it's not something I've ever been able to master. I'm definitely going to give the novel gig a shot this year. I'm normally a short story writer, so any advice for long term plot tactics will definitely be a big help. I really do not foresee a 50,000 word smut shot making any headway for me.
