Katherine knew what it was like to feel empty inside. She had been feeling that way for a long time now. Even before the whole fiasco with Mike Delfino happened, she had those empty feelings. That’s why she clung to him so much. He made her feel less that way. Even though deep down inside she knew he didn’t love her. He never really loved her.
The house was just so empty since Dylan left. It was so big and quiet and empty. She was alone. So very alone. Then Robin came into her life, into her home and suddenly she didn’t feel so empty anymore. The house felt alive again and so did she.
The feelings she was having for Robin were scary and new and confusing to her but they were making her feel again and that couldn’t be a bad thing, right? What she felt for Robin wasn’t the same as what she felt for Mike because Robin felt the same things for her. It wasn’t a based on a lie. On empty promises.
On empty gestures.
What she had with Robin might just be the most real thing in her life. Katherine wasn’t sure what she was feeling but she knew one thing for sure. She didn’t want to feel nothing anymore.
She didn’t want to feel empty.
