Chapter Summary: Natalia recalls the kiss between her and Olivia...events occur that could change their relationship forever.
Natalia was sitting in her kitchen - her farmhouse kitchen - staring at Olivia Spencer...her best friend, her roommate and her boss. Olivia was eating and she slowly raised her fork to her mouth. Natalia stared at the older womans lips as she parted them to allow the fork to have access. The way her lips parted did weird things to her body as she flashed back to the kiss they shared in January.
"They think that we're close, that we're very close - that we love each other!" Olivia shouted harshly.
"Well, we do," Natalia replied quickly, standing there - barely two feet away from the older, taller woman. "We may not say it all the time, and I know that we argue about...just about everything...but really, Olivia? Deep down..."
Olivia looked incredulous. "Do I have to...hit you over the head with this?" she asked rhetorically as she took the younger girls face in her hands and kissed her roughly, trying to get her point across to the younger naive woman.
Natalia pulled away first and looked at Olivia with confused features and Olivia looked back at her with what seemed like mirrored confusion.
Natalia snapped out of the memory and looked back at the beautiful woman sitting just inches from her. Olivia felt Natalia's strong gaze on her and her green eyes searched for Natalia's.
"What's wrong?" asked Olivia as gently as she could, though it sounded more as a purr - but it wasn't her fault, her voice is naturally sexy and alluring, even with the most innocent of words.
The younger woman shook her head nonchalantly and a strand of long, mahogany hair slipped through her braid. "Nothing at all," she murmured. Though she wasn't good at lying, Olivia accepted it and went back to her food and Natalia went back to staring at her lips.
"Mommy!" yelled little Emma from the other room. Without second thought, Olivia got up and practically sprinted into the other room, almost tripping as Natalia was right on her heels.
"What, what is it?" Olivia asked frantically, probably expecting to see Philip Spaulding there with a butcher knife, waiting to kill Olivia to get to Emma.
All little Emma did was point at the wall and there was a giant bug crawling up it. Olivia sighed with relief but Natalia squealed and ran to the opposite side of the room.
"Natalia, you'll have to kill it," Olivia murmured as she looked at the younger woman with serious eyes. "It's too early for me and my chest hurts."
The brunette knew she couldn't refuse to do this if Olivia's chest hurt. Natalia inched towards the ugly bug and Olivia was right there behind her. The smaller woman stepped onto the couch and attempted to hit the bug with the shoe, and hit it right on. The dead bugs leg twitched and Natalia stepped back and Olivia caught her and they were standing face to face.
Nothing else in the world mattered but them - they didn't even remember that Emma was in the room. Natalia was overly aware that their chests, stomachs and thighs were touching, that Olivia's hand was around her waist and that hers were around hers as well.
Olivia's lips twitched and so did Natalia's heart. The older womans hands moved up her back and they gently went up to her hair so she could fix apart of it. Natalia put her hands on Olivia's face and inched her face closer - their lips just centimeters apart.
