I love Jack and Evelyn. You always do the best OCs. Frank is being creepy just like I knew he'd be when his true colors shine through. Love this story. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Glad you're enjoying Jack and Evelyn. They're a fun pair. Hadn't really planned on Evelyn, but wanted someone to be an ally and couldn't come up with a regular cast member I was sure was Catholic...so voila.

As for Frank...lol.

Man, that was just . . . WOW! Love that Emma, while acting like the kid she is, instinctively knew she couldn't trust Frank. And Frank is such a self-righteous a-hole. I can't wait for the next update :D

As for Emma, she's a smart cookie, but still a kid, so glad that's working. And Frank...yeah, he's definitely cornered the market on self-righteousness. The nimrod truly believes he's a hero. *groan*

Well, in Frank's defense, I think he's so blinkered that it wouldn't occur to him that Emma would see him as anything but safe and protective...certainly that's how he sees himself.

lol. Em knows her family, and even if she's a little out of sorts, she's not gonna put up with anybody attacking someone she loves.
