Natalia was sitting on her couch, well into her seventh glass of wine. The TV was off. The radio was off. A single lamp was turned on. The picture of Olivia, Emma, and herself was placed on the small table. She was in serious thought. She staring at the picture, awaiting for some huge epiphany to hit her. She stared and stared and stared. She even quit blinking for a minute, but only sighed, leaning back into the couch with no big idea making it's way into her stubborn mind. She glanced around the room and decided to make herself a snack. She made her way to the kitchen, but before she could turn towards the stove, a picture caught her attention. It was the picture she took of Olivia at the Christening.
Natalia was literally frozen on the spot. She thought Olivia was completely beautiful. Her flowing hair. Her perfect eyebrows. Her stunning emerald eyes. Her cute nose. Her full lips. And her thoughtful expression. Natalia knew she had completely fallen for Olivia, months ago, of that she had no doubts. If she was truly honest with herself, she doubted nothing when she was with Olivia...well,except one thing. Intimacy.
She wasn't afraid of intimacy itself. She loved when Olivia touched her. She loved touched Olivia. You see, with Gus and with Frank she had the upper hand. She knew she was easy on the eyes and they were already helplessly in love with her. But with Olivia, she felt helpless and it was a known fact that Olivia was a master seductress in Springfield. She's heard stories; secrets never exist long in Springfield. Natalia knew how to seduce men who already loved her...Olivia was a challenge to her. She didn't want to disappoint the master. It's like Alexa Vega trying to seduce Catherine Zeta-Jones...crazy. She laughed at her choice of celebrities in her ad lib metaphor playing out in her head. Further on, deep in her gut, she knew that if they did kiss, there'd be a high schance that it wouldn't stop there...and it scared her. She'd be like a toddler learning to drive. Then again, she was a woman...maybe Olivia liked what she did? She looked at the picture again, this time grabbing it to study closer.
Natalia sighed to herself as she felt the fire low in her stomach. This was becoming more and more common. Usually she'd take that picture upstairs and do things that earned her many, many confessions the next day. But something felt different today. She was tired of defending a relationship that wasn't truly defined. She hated the feeling of regret that washed over her everytime Olivia's lips would take a sudden turn and miss its wanted target.
Natalia walked back into the living room and glanced at the empty wine bottle. Sure, she was a little tipsy, but she'd be damned if she didn't do something now. She searched around for her cell phone and eventually found it wedged between the sheets. She flipped it open and hit 1 on her speed dial. It rang three times and a familiar, yet groggy voice answered.
"Hello?" murmured Olivia.
"Hey Olivia, it's Natalia," said Natalia.
"You do know it's one o'clock in the morning right?" whispered Olivia as she yawned into the phone.
Natalia ran into the kitchen to glance at the clock. She did not know she was up so late. "Uhm, no, actually I didn't. But I need you to come over."
"What happened? Are you okay?" said Olivia, panic detected in her voice.
Unable to express herself verbally, Natalia hung up. Fifteen minutes later, Olivia showed up at her front door, dressed in her robe and her hair slightly tussled. Natalia let her in quickly. Olivia checked Natalia over, pushing her hair back and checking for any signs of trama.
"What's the matter Natalia?" said Olivia.
"I'm fine Olivia, really, I just really needed to see you. Talk to you." said Natalia, pacing in a straight line.
"Natalia, it's one o'clock in the morning. Couldn't this have waited? I love you and everything but I've got to work and you have a new job to go to now. I meant it when I said I'm always here, but one o'clock? I called Jane and she'll be there to take Emma to school, so whatever you need to talk about, just go ahead and say it," said Olivia as she wiped her eyes in weariness.
Natalia just stared at Olivia. It was now or never.
And she kissed Olivia. She had strode over, grabbed the older woman's face, and kissed her--hard. She slid her tongue over Olivia's lips, begging for entrance, of which Olivia had no objection. She moved forward until she had Olivia pinned against the door, pressing her hips into Olivia's. It felt so right; it was home. Natalia eased her hand down to untie her robe. Olivia tried to object, but before she could utter a single word, Natalia spoke.
"Before you ask, yes I'm sure. I'm so sick and tired of not physically showing you how I feel. Really, it makes me physically sick to now have you here, where you belong," whispered Natalia into Olivia's ear, followed by a loving kiss on her neck.
Olivia pulled back to smile at Natalia. "I love you Natalia."
"And I love you Olivia, completely. So, would you care to join me upstairs?"
Olivia nodded, with a naughty smirk on her face. Natalia smiled, taking Olivia's hand and leading her upstairs, to make love that would undoubtedly make them feel complete.
