Wow. In last episode you managed to make both Snape and Dumbledore more sympathetic by having them begin a new conversation off the microphone (in which Dumbledore sounded a lot more decent). Here, you just use Rowling´s words and Dumbledore comes through as an insensitive jerk again. Which really means it´s Rowling´s fault, after all. :/
Oh, and you managed to give me a great shock by introducing James and Lily´s death in such a casual way, when I expected it to happen later. I guess that was intentional, and it really works well.

Dumbledore and Snape are both flawed. They're both trying to do the right thing, sometimes in the wrong way and for some of the wrong reasons. And it's clear that Dumbledore can't like Snape naturally and easily, the way he likes Harry. Too much has already gone wrong between them.
