Yuck. Somehow, I don´t really feel comfortable about the way adults treat Severus. Yes, I am aware he did something very wrong, but -won´t anyone just give him a little understanding? So far it´s perfectly obvious why he turned the way he did. He trated others like he had been treated himself, even when he wasn´t being an evil Death Eater.

Keep up the good work!

Poor Severus! He may find a modicum of understanding later.

Thank you!

Very good. I love the magical philosophy you create, and how you incorporate it so easily. It's fantastic. The bit about the Patronus is very interesting.

I don't find the treatment of Severus odd, if cuestionable. We just have to see the way common people treat delinquent teenagers- like they are vermin they'd like to stomp on, so they don't exist anymore. There are very few people who think they should be receiving kind help, unfortunately. But in times of war- in a time when being capable of Sectumsempra meant he'd soon be using it on innocent people under Voldemort's orders- maybe a bit of a firm hand is justified. Maybe, if he had seen how bad he was turning out, he would have stopped.
But Dumbledore is still kind to him, and that's what matters. It doesn't surprise me that him and Lily were the onlu people he actually felt any loyalty to, though.

Oh, look, shiny tangents.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the magical philosophy/theory. I really enjoy writing it.

I also like writing about Severus and Dumbledore trying to reach an understanding--they're both flawed, they've both done bad things, they both have their blind spots. But in the end (if out of very mixed motives) they both do the right thing. Glad you share the interest.
