Hmmmh... interesting, but intriguing. I wonder if killing Snape´s father would really have been an advantage for Voldemort and the Death Eaters: after all, now he´s, as it´s aptly put in the text, free. His mother can take care of herself and does not need the Malfoys. But I suppose there´s much more to this!

You may be on to something there. I don't see how anybody could remain married for long to Tobias as I have written him and be quite right in the head.

Great chapter. You can just see Snape waiting for the other foot to fall. And it is true that if you give someone what they want...you better have something to hold over their head, if you want to continue controlling them.
