hey hun, it'll be a while before they announce the guests, david only got announced in november last yr and he was the first guest for pegasus 2. the sg12 convention in nov has yet to announce any guests aswell.

have fun with your essay. ive got 2 essays and a lab report to do, so i know how you feel! although i just got news today that ive been accepted onto a dig this summer in Latvia with grampus heritage, so that'll be fun.

Congrats on getting a place in Latvia, we don't even have a list of places we can apply for yet. Partially because they're not doing the usually summer school in the Shetlands, which is disappointing as that is the one I was hoping to go on :(

The cheque for the tickets should have arrived at your house by now, I sent it in a card by 1st class a couple of days ago.

okey dokey, thanks. my parents are bringing all my mail down this weekend.

poor you. do you have a list through the uni about all the places you can go on?
if you want go to the grampus heritage website and put in an application for a work placement on 1 of 5 digs in europe, and see if you manage to get a place. its all expenses paid by grampus even the flights out there, so all you need is your spending money for at the weekend. if u want anymore info give me a shout and ill help u out.

Most of the tutors at the uni run digs over the summer at various places, and they all have a certain number of places for 1st year students, as its a compulsory part of the course and everything. They do a list of the various places, and then we have to apply for them through the department office.
Usually the list would be up by now, but we're not going to the Shetlands, and everyone else is just being all last minute and rushed :S

I'm pretty sure that we have to do it through the Uni, they pay for our expenses, but thanks for the tip about Grampus.
