My boyfriend is 18, and I'm 21. We're both in college, and this is the first vacation that we've been at our respective homes. I have no advice (atleast not as of yet).
However, I'm in the exact same situation. My boyfriend is 19 and I'm 21.

it will get better. how fast, no one can tell. i put my needs in the back seat for over a year. my so transitioned pretty quickly once he came out. once he got his sex legally changed, i was allowed to sit in the front seat with him once again. it was tough. i cried a lot. mostly privately. i tried as hard as i could to understand, to not become bitter. i kept telling myself that something would have to change. and it did ( ... )
