...Because "think" makes so much more sense? ;) Yeah, I get that it's a cutesy play on words, but it's still grammatically clunky. In the UK most of us use "thing", which probably IS just a result of the unfortunate last/first letters of the words, but it was a lame saying to begin with, so I don't think it really matters.

Yes, it is very glottal stop-y and all, so when I say it, it still sounds like "thing", and when you say it you know that it's actually "think" because you're smart, and I'm only friends with the smartest of people ;) BUT my thing is, I'm tired of reading, oh let's say fan fic...*wooks*... that uses it incorrectly. It's sort of like the their, there, they're issue. When someone says "I'm going to their house", I assume they know what they're talking about. When they write "I'm going to there house", I think they're the most ignorant of all humans and must be destroyed.

And with that I apologize for this rambling diatribe. This is what happens when you become unemployed. This and the fact that I made a family tree of the descendants of Adam and Eve because I started thinking that if we are the "children of Adam and Eve" then shouldn't we all live in the mountains and play "Dueling Banjos" all the live long day? And people wonder why I don't go to mass anymore?

Off to continue looking for the perfect tattoo.
