Landcomm challenge: ICONic Music
For this challenge we were supposed to create 30 points of tv graphics inspired by the following 3 genres of music: Pop, Rock, and Classical. Use the music, style, lyrics, words, visuals, music videos, and/or icons to inform the style and/or subject matter of your graphics.
We could do icons, picspams, graphics, whatever. All we need was to have 30 points worth of graphics. Now, after I finished, I realized that my work didn't fit neatly into any of the categories. I decided that I would call it a picspam, with 40 pics worth 1 pt each. Or it could be 10 separate medium sized graphics, worth 3 pts each. Either way works.
Now, I told you all that I suck at graphics, right? So, my work is usually very structured and has a theme. In this case, a Dire Straights song that has been obsessively stuck in my head for the past week:
For an additional little badge, we needed to change 10 pts worth of those graphics to a different music genre. I chose to do pop, and chose another 80s song to match them with:
