Art: Ambush, R, NWS

I'd link to the pic on my journal, but I have a Ron there too. Which would be OT, yes? So I'll just post directly here. I hope it's okay - Severus isn't actually in the picture, but there's a bit of text in it which indicates who it is that Draco is come-hithering :).

I just loved the combination of the text and the beautiful art. I love the simplicity of this ... and the expression in his face is priceless!

:-D Yay!

I love his expression too ;). I wasn't sure whether I wanted him pretending to sleep or not, but that was decided when I gave him a raised arm, so I kept tweaking it until he looked a bit saucy. He's a confident wee thing :D. Or, at least, *pretending* to be confident!

Awesome :D. I think I may have ended up with an eensy little crush on Draco while I was tweaking his face. There's something quite fun about cockiness.

It's all super-scribbly because I'm trying to get looser poses etc, without worrying too much about making things clean and bogging myself down. I've been getting really frustrated with a sort of stiffness in everything I do (which would be FINE if I was drawing inanimate things, but not people!), so yesterday I gave myself the goal of getting down the basic shape in as little time as possible. The Ron pic on my journal was the first one.

There's something almost insanely fun about leaving in almost all the scribbly lines :). Hah. If I'm just discovering this now, you can *really* tell that I'm new to drawing :D.

What the hell is wrong with Severus? Why is Draco not handcuffed to the bed yet?

I know! What is he thinking?

Yay for feet-love, yay, because they're so sodding awkward and it's hard to not make them look like sad lumps.

*is gleeful*
