Will Jim star in "Harvey" on Broadway??

I almost fell off my chair with delight when I caught this article online about Jim being in talks to star in "Harvey" on Broadway.Jim would be PERFECT for this! He has always exuded Jimmy Stewart's "aw shucks" attitude, and is similar in build and personality to him.

So who else wants to buy their Broadway tix NOW!!

I would love if somebody clever could make a side-by-side photo of Jim in his vested tux from the Emmy's with Jimmy Stewart in similar garb - he wore a 3-piece suit with a fedora in "Harvey". (Not sure how Jim would look in a hat like that!)

BTW, IMDB.com says Jimmy Stewart was 6'3" and that his trademark was "Soft-spoken, extremely polite and shy manner, with a very recognizable drawl in his voice." Sound like anyone we know??

Thanks for posting! I was ecstatic when I saw this news.. after the delight of TNH this year, I so wanted hom to return to Broadway, preferably with a starring role in something good. I read about a bit about this, and it seems to be a perfect fit. (The only thing that's upsetting is that I wouldn't be able to see it again, but that's just a selfish consideration..)

And yes, Jimmy Stewart does sound exactly like someone we know. :)
