Good Lord, as Sheldon might say. I am very surprised that Jim would participate in this sort of thing except as a host or presenter. I have the impression he is pretty modest (except for his turn in the Speedo in the Stand Up 2 Cancer video), and this seems pretty racy. How interesting! Thanks for sharing -- let's see the pictures afterwards...

Broadway Bares a way for the no-name ensemble cast members from the various Broadway shows to raise money to support their friends and co-workers who have AIDS. The "names" who participate might do a short adult rated skit but they don't strip. It is really a night for some ridiculously talented people to shine who are usually relegated to the background.

Phew! Thanks for explaining. Meanwhile, I notice the shows are at 9pm and 12 midnight on a Sunday. Guess when Jim's available after the evening performance of TNH? Midnight! And how he hates staying up late...

Hrm... I wonder if there is a way for us to convince my other Broadway love to participate... I'd be up for seeing Jonathan Groff in next to nothing ANY day of the week. Add our dear Jim - and I think I'd be in heaven. *g*

Oh my God, if I may say so. Surely Jim's not doing exactly this? (And er, what's NSFW, since I'm not well-versed in modern urban parlance). :P

And as someone pointed out.. at midnight?!

I'm wondering.. if it's for AIDS fund-raising, Jim may actually be ready to do more than he normally would. But it sounds to me like he'll just be one of the special guests, who wouldn't be participating in the burlesque stuff.

Let's wait and see. :)
