changing times

I went to my group meeting on Tuesday to learn more about the adapting phase of my diet program. I really wasn't sure that I was ready to switch but by the time I left the meeting I had made the committment to proceed to the next stage. It is much harder. I now have to plan a meal for dinner each night. Part of what I have loved about this ( Read more... )

Here's an idea (this is what I do):

Instead of cooking every day, prepare the foods on the weekend, divide them into single serving size containers *immediately* after cooking and freeze or refridgerate them as appropriate. Note: Make sure and label with the name of meal *and* your name, so your family doesn't eat it *grin.*

In other words, premade homemade frozen meals, is what I am suggesting.

And kudos to you, for working hard!!

As an aside . .. I lost about 55 lbs after my second child, so I've been there . . .

That's just what I was going to suggest. I'm usually getting home tired at 8, 9 or 10 pm and definately don't feel like cooking. So I cook a lot of stuff when in Niagara on the weekend and freeze it. It works out really well for me.

BTW, you look fantastic!!! Congratulations on all the excellent progress.
