Hurricane prep?

Anyone on the East Coast US making or made any pet-specific hurricane prep? I live 100 miles inland, so I let my boyfriend convince me not to worry on my own behalf, but I decided to continue worrying on Kappa's behalf - if things did get bad here, I could always stop in to shelters for supplies for myself, but I couldn't bring Kappa

I keep extra food (frozen), bottled water, styptic powder, clippers, bandaging stuff and the carry crates at the ready in case we have to leave. I'm in central NJ so while we don't have to evacuate we do prepare for if we lost power.

I also cleaned out the cages in advance in case we dont have power or are cut off from things like trash pick up.....

I'd be much more worried if I was in an evacuation zone but yeah we stay ready and would head west to friends if we had to... got lucky this time, so far...
