I find Superman interesting because of the sort of threesome within him and debating who he really is, etc. I think you nicely portrayed that he is all of them but seemingly more person (Clark, remembering his mother's cooking, Kal-el, who comes from a past) than hero. Certainly he is all human in the emotional sense of the word.

Great fic though it made me a little sad for the big lug.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm quite interested in how the various parts of him interact. I tried to get at that here a little.

And yeah, I think there's another part of this story about Clark coming back. I just need to write it. :p

This is lovely! The prose is gorgeous and I just love the dream sequences in particular, as well as the intermingling of Kryptonian culture with earth culture.
