Most of this code wasn't particularly difficult to set up. The framework itself is pretty powerful when it comes to manipulating these sorts of things, and a lot of it is just making sure you're planning everything out properly before sitting down and writing it. I was a little bit worried about the pacing in places. I'm glad it worked for you!
Re: the ending, I like the thought that there are many different ways things could go after this and that people could fill in their own future for them. Maybe one day I'll write the actual choose-your-own-adventure sequel where you can get everyone killed by making the wrong decisions.
Anyway, it was a joy to get this comment today. It's always thrilling to get thoughtful feedback on something you've made.

Also, the 2nd person perspective thing was beautiful. The first time I heard about it I could never wrap my mind around it so I know it's more difficult to write in the 1st or 3rd like everyone else in the world does, but you did it beautifully and it definitely added to the narrative. Well done!
I have a link to the sequel saved and if I didn't have to go to work right now, I'd be diving in right now!!

I actually really like second person POV. When I first started working on it, I did try to write a story in another POV, but it just didn't quite work right. There's something about interactive formats that really seems to ask for second person.
And I hope you enjoy the sequel as well!

I did enjoy the sequel and read it before I left for work (don't worry, I wasn't late)
