Parrotlet Photofest

Since I mostly just lurk here I thought I'd share some photos of my little fella, Curtis, the pacific parrotlet. He hangs out with me all day so I end up snapping cellphone photos of him while I (try to) get work done! Hope you enjoy em :D

yeahhh sometimes he worries use with how tiny he is, but since he's our only bird he's not too hard to keep track of thankfully.

not keeping track of the bird that is my problem. 5 dogs/ 3 cats/ 2 rabbits/ 3 roommates/ 1 husband/ and 8 birds of varying sizes. As well as two main doors to the house and several ceiling fans.....

Just to many doors/windows/pets/people for a little guy to be safe out of cage around here. And the little guy would have all the attitude of my Amazon in it's pint sized body.

So I will just have to get my fix from cute pictures like yours.

Yeah! Sounds like you have a really lively house! Curtis is a bold little guy sometimes but not nearly as foolhardy as my first parrotlet. Thankfully. Though he does stick his beak into places in doesn't belong more often than I'd care to mention... XD

We just have a tiny apartment so as long as the stove is off (and it is anytime he's out), generally there's very little threat to him.

Aww thanks! I really love the last one too, because there's nothing more adorable than a bird settled in on your knee.

Typing makes my fingers move up and down, which is apparently a fabulously fun ride for my birds. Yes, I'm really getting a lot of writing down with your help, guys. Thanks for being so supportive.

Yup! That's actually only a small part of the larger playground hahah I had the Kinects lying around and playstands were a bit too big to have in my apartment so, these are nice, they can be broken apart and rearranged anytime :D
