It's amazing what a bird as small as a tiel can destroy, eh? LOL! I lost a 2 hundred dollar Wacom tablet some years ago by having Mindwipe merrily chewing through it. And of course she just would NOT understand 'NO!' So for years my (replaced) cords were either wrapped in tape or covered in aquarium tubing. Same thing happened with her mate, Redshift, with a lamp. You turn your back long enough to put something on a shelf and you come back to find that X, Y and Z has met death by a nosy Cockatielus Rex.
I strongly suggest aquarium tubing. Easy to replace when the birds gum it to death, but not so weak that they can destroy it.
As for toys - I love thread spools. I have plastic ones and I stuff the centers with old flyers, letting the edges poke out the ends. Then I tear the ends into long strips so it looks like hair. The conures especially love shredding those!
I got a new Wacom recently too and that's one thing I am gonna be damn careful he doesn't destroy! XD Luckily the boyfriend knows how to repair electrical things to some degree.
Wacom now makes wireless tables. Hehe. I hold that wireless was created solely for the purpose of relieving bird owners from crying over chewed cords; everyone else who likes wireless just benefitted from our desperate need for a lack of cords.
That foraging box sounds like a great idea. I got my cockatiel one of those little cat ball toys too and he's taken a slight interest in it. I think he might enjoy the box if there's seeds to be eaten--as he certainly loves his treats more than regular pellet meal. Haha.
Thanks for sharing your pictures and some good ideas. :D

I love all the play ideas :)
I get empty toilet rolls and cut them up so it's curly (ie, like trying to peel in apple skin in one piece) and my tiels LOVE playing with those :)
