Thank you, I hope he becomes a bit more cuddly as he settles in. He likes scratches that's for sure.

Well I got to meet two this weekend and one of them was very very open about how he felt about me ;). (Leave my territory)
He seems outgoing when he is comfortable, but since he arrived here he's been very reserved.

Aww, I'm jealous. I love Caiques. I like how their feathers look almost like fur.

They definitely don't feel like it though. It seems like their feathers feel a bit more oily than conures, but they have a really interesting smell.

I think they smell like microwave popcorn, old cardboard & brown sugar :)
I have 4 caiques & they are all funny as hell, but take tons of my patience. Mine are all between 6 -8 years old.
The caiques community isn't very active these days, but you are welcome to check us out!
