LJ has been really good about compensating users for down time as well as working to get the system up and running again as quickly as they can.

That's part of why I felt so strongly about boosting the signal on this one - I *believe* in LJ, and so I want to make sure that people stop and think about what LJ both *is* and *means*. I'm rambling; sorry. Just - thanking you for your reply. Take care.
