i need to actually see more cronenberg films. so far just "the fly" and "crash". yes, i'm horribly behind in some areas.

so the name of the town in the film is "Millhaven"? on the album "murder ballads" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds there is a song titled "The Curse of Millhaven" about violence and murder in a small pastoral town. unconnected, i'm sure, but interesting to me none the same.

It's Millhaven. Perhaps I was getting confused due to the Cave song.
