Well, I'm not getting as excited about it as I am for the other things, but I think it might be worth a peek. I like Helen Mirren, and I like Elizabeth I (good to have a drink with, nice arse, etc). Plus, it also features the line "The Dutch do not have religion, they have cheese". Isn't that enough?

The Renwick thing is a reportedly cynical-as-ever romantic comedy/drama starring La Grieg, who I was absolutely in love with until she appeared on Jonathan Ross's show yesterday and joined in the deafening chorus of "Hey, Mr. Noospaperman! Leave Our Kate The People's Supermodel alone!" There's a column in the Independent on Sunday today accusing H&M of homophobia for sacking her. Is that enough, The Press? Have we not been tortured enough by this kind of stuff?

Would it be naive to assume there's even a vaguely plausible link between sacking a cokehead and homophobia?

Yes. In short, the columnist claimed it was suspicious that H&M didn't fire her immediately after the cocaine allegations, but they did fire her after the revelation that she had a threesome with Sadie Frost and someone I've never, ever heard of. The smoking gun: "They didn't specifically mention lesbianism in their statement".

Using this logic, I have deduced that Kate Moss was fired from being H&M's Huckabees-esque spokesdroid because she was actually a blue penguin who owned her own helicopter. Damningly, blue helicopter-owning penguins were also not mentioned in H&M's statement.
