More odds and ends from nearby today. Even though the weather has been really nice we've not been going far while it's getting so difficult to get petrol. Yesterday I discovered that one of our local park's staples, the slide has gone! Judging by the grow-over of the grass it's actually been gone a while too o_0

what a shame the slide gone, guess people got sick of having idiots pee on it. I had a ladybird land on me the other day and it was metalic blue with black spots, flew away before I could get camera out

i don't really know why they got rid of it, it was still a focal point of the park and was used not just as a loo on some days ;/
That sounds like a cool ladybird, not sure I've seen a blue one! Shame you couldn't get a pic.

Yep, all that's there now is the basketball hoop & some tatty boards, and the goalposts ;/
The ladybird is on a piece of charcoal or something as there had been a fire over the park- that's what made me go over the park to see the slide was missing.
