Stop giving me flashbacks to Alias! I mean, the quality certainly went down before Garner and Vartan broke up, but Jesus. It was SO AWKWARD when they did.
Of course, while I did love Vaughn for a minute, I wouldn't say Vartan is the best actor in the world. It was fine when he just basically had to be in love with Syd because, you know, he was besotted with Garner in real life. But after? Shudder-inducing.
For reasons which don't need exploring at this juncture, I unexpectedly have a subscription to People for the year adn I was flipping through last week's issue last night and saw the picture and about fell of my couch.
I knew their chemistry was sort-of amazing, but I had no idea they were actually together.
I take heart from the first Kevin Williamson project that had people who had great chemistry, got together, broke up but were still able to be amazing together as their characters - Josh Jackson and Katie Holmes. So, sometimes, when people break up it doesn't totally destroy the show!
We just watched THE SOCIAL NETWORK last week. And now I've heard that Justin Timberlake will become a part-owner of MySpace. Irony, or just, WHY, JT?? WHY? WHY???
