Guess what I did this weekend?

Cooked. And painted.

It was excellent.

I, unfortunately, don't have pictures of the painting adventure yet, so I've decided to dazzle you with pictures of tart making. Don't tell me you're not riveted.

I do need to get an oven thermometer; I used to laugh at my boyfriend because he yelled at me that I needed one and now I get it. (I might should have listened to him as he's, you know, a chef.)

I...don't rememeber. It's either in his second one (Takes Off) or Cook. I'm pretty sure it's Takes Off, but I'll check.
