Title: 05. Scold - Sejoon

Sejoon looks at the dog sitting in front of him. His head is bowed, tail flat on the floor. Sejoon feels like an asshole. It's not really the dog's fault that Sejoon hasn't trained him well enough not to pee on the carpet. He just hasn't had time. He struggles not to scold the dog, but he can't help it.
It doesn't last and he knows he's reinforcing bad behavior and that Jongkook will be pissed when he comes home, but Sejoon is a sucker for those puppy dog eyes, from the real dog and from his boyfriend.
So, instead of scolding, he walks the dog outside, walking around their tiny neighborhood. He rewards their dog when it does its business properly hoping that this time it'll learn. By the time Jongkook gets home from work, the apartment no longer smells like dog pee and Sejoon and the dog are in the kitchen while Sejoon fixes dinner.
A few days later, the dog is waiting by the door. Sejoon sniffs, but smells nothing. He takes the dog out, impressed when it does its business without Sejoon's prompting. With a few setbacks, the dog eventually figures things out, and Sejoon does too.
Jongkook, Sejoon, and the dog are out walking one evening when Jongkook asks how he did it. Sejoon pleads innocence, but gives up the charade when Jongkook explains that he knew their dog wasn't being potty trained fast enough.
Sejoon explains the article he read online, about how he decided for rewards instead of punishment. Jongkook is adequately impressed and proud, both of Sejoon and the puppy.
