Three hours to shore leave and _tom_paris is no where to be found. On top of it all, harrykim is going to spend his time with Seven_of_nine. (Yeah, right, he has no romantic interest in Seven at all).
chakotay has suggested we go hiking. He's getting a group of people together and if I don't see Tom in the next 2 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds, I'll take chakotay up on his offer.

Spending shore leave together doesn't imply anything more. For goodness sake, the Captain and Commander and you are all going hiking together. Tuvok is spending time with Neelix. I think you've just been reading too many of those Klingon romance novels of yours.
Just friends. We're going to look at the stars, maybe make s'mores, and that's it.
