Oooh, but that was interesting. You made me actually feel bad and care for Macnair. I never would have expected Macnair the executioner to have a backstory like this; to be this intelligent (although he was a Slytherin, so he -should- be ambitious). I can totally see it now that you've written it, though. I liked it. ^^
