Eeeeeeee, the cute! I mean, I still want to destroy Mercutio's father with every fiber of my being, but eeeeeee, how cute! I love your Benvolio. And Mercutio is just awesome, there's no other word for him. *bounce* I've been looking forward to this all day! The wait for this made school almost unbearable. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Mercutio is much stronger emotionally than his friends might expect. He can be very needy, but when Benvolio is the one who needs support, Mercutio will come through for him. I think that's probably their greatest strength as a couple.

I hope school wasn't too unbearable! Are you studying anything interesting?

Awww, yeah. I love Mercutio's idea, that's very good of him. And I love how he and Benvolio are so comfortable in front of Romeo. That really says a lot about their friendship, I think.

Nothing particularly, but it wasn't the lack of interesting things happening that made it unbearable, it was the fic-wait.

Oh, just wondering, did you have a chance to check out that video yet?

And I love how he and Benvolio are so comfortable in front of Romeo. That really says a lot about their friendship, I think.Yeah. Romeo has had about a year and a half to get over himself, and he's slipped quite easily into accepting his cousin and his best friend as a couple. Their long past friendship helped tremendously with this. And the pre-modern concept of homosexuality as action rather than identity also helped. Romeo wouldn't be adjusting his thinking to view Benvolio and Mercutio as the homosexual Other to his straight Self; Hegel wouldn't be inflicted on the world for several centuries yet ( ... )

Yeep! I can't believe I missed this chapter!

I'm so happy that Uncle Tiberio is, even if just a little, accepting Benvolio back! Well, how could you not? He's such a sweetheart.

Well, how could you not? He's such a sweetheart.

That's exactly what Uncle Tiberio has remembered. It's taken him a very long time to get over the idea of having A Gay Nephew, but he's remembered that this Gay Nephew is also his beloved brother's sweet little boy whom he took in and loved as his own son.
